Garage Door End Caps is the best way to prevent rust on steel garage doors

A piece of metal on the end of a section which prevents water or air from entering the garage. Garage Door End Caps is the best way to prevent rust on steel garage doors.

Combined wood and steel end blocks are better than the typical 16 ga. steel caps used by other manufacturers. They create a mechanical thermal break and ensure a stronger way to anchor the hinges.

Snug-Fitting Tongue-and-Groove Section Joints
Tongue and groove section joints reduce wind and weather resistance, while preventing air infiltration. Tight seals between face sheets, full-length vinyl astragal retainer and flexible U-shaped bottom weatherseal block drafts, save energy, reduce noise and resist water jets from cars washing in the garage.

Galvanized steel front and back panels with a wood-grain texture and 2-coat baked-on polyester finish are virtually maintenance free. Galvanized hinges on end stiles and centre stiles provide superior strength and resistance to corrosion. The door’s polyurethane foam insulation core provides energy savings and a quiet, smooth operating system. Integrated strut support stiffeners increase wind load capacities and help prevent sagging or bowing of the panels. The optional insulated door package increases energy savings even further. A wide selection of finishing options, window and insulation choices make it easy to personalize your garage door.

Heavy Gauge Steel
Embossed, high-tensile steel front panels with two coats of baked-on polyester finish for low maintenance and corrosion resistance.

Garaga uses kiln-dried pine wood end blocks that act as a thermal break and prevent thermal bridging. They also provide a much more solid method of attaching the end hinges, compared to a self-tapping screw that passes through the steel end cap and into the strut or hinge strip, which can compromise the R-Value of the insulation. The end blocks are also protected by 14-gauge steel reinforcement plates that add strength and resist flexing.
